Assaltantes das agências bancárias de Ametista do Sul estão cercados em aldeia indígena
Estão cercados os assaltantes que atacaram duas agências bancárias (Sicredi e Banrisul) de Ametista do Sul, a 166 km de Passo Fundo, na tarde da quinta-feira (28).
Pelo menos seis bandidos atacaram os bancos com armas longas e, segundo informações, cerca de três disparos de fuzis foram efetuados para o alto. 17 reféns foram usados em um cordão humano. A ação foi realizada no “modus operandi” tradicional, conhecido como “Novo Cangaço”.
Uma caminhonete S-10 prata foi usada e, na fuga, três reféns foram levados e liberados em seguida sem ferimentos. Eram dois vigilantes do Banrisul e um do Sicredi, de identidade não reveladas.
Os assaltantes fugiram em direção a Planalto e no caminho dispersaram pregos retorcidos na rodovia. Duas viaturas tiveram os pneus furados.
Mesmo assim, guarnições da polícia de 15 cidades se mobilizaram no cerco aos criminosos. Um helicóptero, inclusive, foi usado nas buscas.
Por volta das 17h os assaltantes foram cercados pela polícia em uma reserva indígena da região de Planalto. A prisão dos bandidos pode ocorrer a qualquer momento.
