Na noite da terça-feira, 14, a Polícia Civil de Ametista do Sul divulgou informações que um corpo foi localizado por policiais civis no interior do município de Planalto, em uma propriedade rural da linha Barra Bonita. Conforme investigações, trata-se de MARCELO ALVES ZANATTA, 24 anos, morador de Ametista do Sul, que estava desaparecido desde início do mês de abril do corrente ano.
A Polícia Civil aguarda o Corpo de Bombeiros de Nonoai que providenciará a remoção do corpo que será encaminhado à necropsia. Dois suspeitos foram presos preventivamente, após representação desta autoridade policial. Após prestarem depoimento na DP de Planalto foram recolhidos ao Presídio Estadual de Iraí. A ação contou com a participação de policiais civis de Ametista do Sul, Rodeio Bonito e Planalto.
Ainda conforme a polícia, a motivação do crime seria desavenças familiares envolvendo relacionamentos da vítima. Pai e padrasto da ex-companheira de Marcelo foram presos.
