Um segundo milagre atribuído à Irmã Dulce, conhecida como “O Anjo bom da Bahia”, foi reconhecido por meio de decreto e, com isso, ela será proclamada Santa, informou, na manhã da terça-feira (14), o site “Vatican News”, canal oficial de comunicação do Vaticano. Ela será a primeira mulher nascida no Brasil a ser canonizada. Com o Decreto autorizado pelo Santo Padre reconhecendo o milagre atribuído à intercessão de Irmã Dulce, a Baeta será proclamada santa em solene celebração de canonizações.
O novo milagre reconhecido tem relação com uma pessoa que dormiu cega e acordou enxergando, conforme a Arquidiocese de Salvador. A informação também foi confirmada pelas Obras Sociais Irmã Dulce (OSID). Ainda não foi divulgado, no entanto, quem foi a pessoa que recebeu a graça, nem de onde ela é e quando o caso aconteceu.
O primeiro atribuído à Irmã Dulce, que levou à sua beatificação, em 22 de maio de 2011, trata da recuperação de uma paciente que teve uma grave hemorragia pós-parto e cujo sangramento subitamente parou, sem intervenção médica. A data da celebração de canonizações não foi divulgada.
