Jovem de 18 anos morre em acidente no Centro de Ametista do Sul
Um jovem de 18 anos morre em um acidente de trânsito no inicio da manhã desta quinta-feira, 16, no centro de Ametista do Sul. A colisão ocorreu por volta das 5h15min na avenida Bento Gonçalves próximo estrada de acesso à linha da Curta, envolvendo uma motocicleta Titan e um veículo Chevrolet Corsa. O motociclista trafegava na contramão para desviar de um quebra mola e ao voltar para a pista acabou colidindo do carro que descia para a linha Curta.
A vítima fatal foi identificada sendo o jovem Marcelo Eduardo Saldanha Coimbra de 18 anos de idade. Ele não possuía Carteira Nacional de Habilitação, (CNH). O jovem chegou a ser socorrido ao hospital mas não resistiu aos ferimentos. O corpo foi encaminhado ao IML de Frederico Westphalen. Ele residia na linha Barreiro grande interior de Ametista do Sul.
A Brigada Militar e a Polícia Civil atenderam a ocorrência.
