Toda população já pode se vacinar contra a gripe

A partir da segunda-feira, (3), toda a população pode se vacinar contra a gripe, inclusive quem faz parte do público prioritário e que ainda não se vacinou. De acordo com o Ministério da Saúde, a vacinação vai continuar enquanto durarem os estoques da vacina.

Os grupos prioritários tiveram entre os dias 10 de abril e 31 de maio para se vacinar com exclusividade - Tomaz Silva/Agência Brasil

 

Até a última sexta-feira (31), quando terminou a campanha nacional, quase 80% do público prioritário foi vacinado, o que representa 47,5 milhões de pessoas. Os grupos prioritários tiveram entre os dias 10 de abril e 31 de maio para se vacinar com exclusividade.

 

Durante esse período, foram priorizados 59,4 milhões de pessoas, entre elas, gestantes, puérperas, crianças entre 6 meses a menores de 6 anos, idosos, indígenas, professores, trabalhadores de saúde, pessoas com comorbidades, funcionários do sistema prisional e população privada de liberdade, além de profissionais de segurança e salvamento.

 

Até agora, seis estados já bateram a meta de 90%: Amazonas (98,5%), Amapá (98,5%), Pernambuco (93,6%), Espírito Santo (91,3%), Rondônia (90,4%) e Maranhão (90%). Os estados com menor cobertura são: Rio de Janeiro (63,7%), Acre (73%) e São Paulo (73,1%).

 

Segundo o ministério, a escolha do público prioritário no Brasil segue recomendação da Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) por serem grupos mais suscetíveis ao agravamento de doenças respiratórias. A vacina é a forma mais eficaz de evitar a doença.
