A forte chuva de ontem causou estragos e deixou consumidores sem energia elétrica. Os impactos do temporal ainda são sentidos pelos gaúchos nesta manhã. Mais de 40 mil clientes seguem sem luz no Estado. Na área de concessão da CEEE Equatorial, 21 mil estão com o fornecimento interrompido, sendo quase metade deles na Região Metropolitana. Os municípios mais impactados são Porto Alegre, Camaquã e Rio Grande, conforme a concessionária.
Os prazos para restabelecimento dependem da complexidade de cada situação encontrada. Em alguns casos, o acesso das equipes é dificultado pelos próprios danos causados pela chuva.
Outras 20 mil economias estão com o fornecimento interrompido na área de concessão da RGE, em ocorrências causadas, na maioria dos casos, por queda de objetos na rede eletrica. A maior parte desses clientes é residente no Vale do Taquari.
A energia vai sendo normalizada na medida em que os reparos são concluídos. A RGE observa, no entanto, que grande parte dos reparos são de alta complexidade e longos deslocamentos de equipes, tanto de caminhonetes como de caminhões.
