No dia 29/01/22, por volta das 23 horas um sujeito, cortou mangueiras de freio, balão pneumático, cortou pneus e a parte elétrica de 2 semi reboques que estavam estacionados em frente à Igreja da Comunidade da Encruzilhada Gaúcha, interior do município de Alpestre. No domingo quando o motorista se preparava para viajar, uma pessoa que não quis se identificar, falou que viu movimentos estranhos embaixo do caminhão. Então o motorista fez uma verificação e identificou que os freios da carreta foram sabotados, sabendo que quando carregado transporta mais de 50 toneladas. A Polícia Civil foi chamada e está investigando o caso.
