RS inicia a semana sem registrar novas mortes por Covid-19
O Rio Grande do Sul não registrou óbitos por Covid-19 nesta segunda-feira, de acordo com o boletim epidemiológico divulgado pela Secretaria Estadual de Saúde (SES). É a segunda vez em duas semanas que este índice é atingido no RS. O número de pessoas que faleceram pela doença permaneceu em 39.160.
Já o número de infecções por coronavírus no Estado chegou a 2.297.644, com 418 novos casos registrados hoje. Do total, 2.249.544 estão recuperados, enquanto 8.814 seguem em acompanhamento.
A quantidade de pacientes com Covid-19 internados em Unidades de Terapia Intensiva (UTIs) foi de 106, e em leitos clínicos, 210. A taxa de ocupação em UTIs em geral nos hospitais gaúchos, segundo a SES, foi de 66,6%. A mortalidade do vírus está em 344,2 por 100 mil habitantes, e a letalidade, em 1,7%.
