Deputado estadual irá protocolar projeto pedindo o fim dos rodeios no RS
O deputado estadual e ativista da causa animal Rodrigo Maroni (PSDB) anunciou em sua rede social que vai protocolar um projeto na Assembleia Legislativa pedindo o fim dos rodeios no RS. A medida, segundo ele, se dá com o objetivo de acabar com os maus-tratos aos animais.
”Os rodeios são uma prática cruel. As provas colocam touros, cavalos e outros bichos em situações de estresse físico e psicológico. Eles receberiam até mesmo choques elétricos antes de entrar na arena para ficar com medo e entrar gritando, garantindo o show. A pior prova é a de laço: ao serem derrubados, os bezerros podem sofrer fraturas e ficar tetraplégicos ou morrer devido a hemorragias. É engano imaginar que o rodeio representa a cultura do campo. Ele não faz parte da nossa tradição’’, escreveu ele.
Mesmo que ainda não tenha protocolado, entidades tradicionalistas, de forma extraoficial, já se manifestam contra o projeto, que segundo eles, não será aprovado. O texto-base também prevê multa aos organizadores que descumprirem a lei, caso seja aprovada, além da suspensão de dois anos na realização de atividades no Estado.
