Pix bate novo recorde de transações diárias, com 73,198 milhões de operações
O Pix bateu novo recorde de transações diárias na última sexta-feira, informou nesta segunda-feira o Banco Central. Em um único dia, foram feitas 73,198 milhões de operações, bem acima do recorde anterior, de 7 de abril deste ano, de 63,504 milhões de transferências de recursos em tempo real.
Em março, último dado mensal disponível, o Pix alcançou 1,6 bilhão de transações, o maior nível da série iniciada em novembro de 2020, com a criação do serviço de pagamentos instantâneos pelo BC. No mês, R$ 784,7 bilhões foram movimentados, também um recorde da série.
O Pix começou a operação no Brasil em novembro de 2020. Desde sua primeira fase, quando ficou disponível apenas para 5% dos clientes com conta bancária, a forma de pagamento vem aumentando a quantidade de transações mês a mês.
