Brasileiros criam fogão que funciona com energia solar e dispensa botijão
Cientistas da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), criaram um fogão movido a energia solar e podem ter resolvido uma das queixas mais comuns dos brasileiros, que é o preço altíssimo do botijão do gás de cozinha.
Feito com sucata, espelhos e materiais de baixo custo, o aparelho tem custo de fabricação muito baixo, de apenas R$ 150 - menos do que o botijão de gás, que sai entre R$ 103 e R$ 140, de acordo com a região.
E quem questiona sobre a potência do equipamento, também vai se surpreender. O fogão sustentável conseguiu assar nove bolos ao mesmo tempo! Que incrível!
Pratos já testados no fogão
Para criar o fogão movido a energia solar, o professor usou um princípio simples da engenharia.
O aparelho transforma a radiação solar em calor, gerando um efeito estufa. Isso permite aquecer os alimentos até o ponto de cozimento necessário.
Além dos bolos, os cientistas também usaram o fogão para o preparo de lasanha, pizza e até empanados.
Todos os alimentos ficaram no mesmo grau de qualidade que aqueles feitos em fogões convencionais.
Sustentável e eficiente
O professor Luiz Guilherme Meira de Souza, responsável pelo laboratório de engenharia da UFRN, lembra que a energia solar é social, abundante e renovável.
E são justamente essas características que permitem que ela esteja acessível para todos, em qualquer lugar.
