Jogador da Chape é convocado para a Seleção sub-17: "Fiquei emocionado"
O zagueiro Diego Ritter, da Chapecoense, foi convocado nesta sexta-feira para um período de treinamento com a seleção brasileira sub-17. O defensor ficará na Granja Comary entre os dias 13 e 20 de janeiro e será uma preparação para um torneio quadrangular que será disputado em fevereiro, entre Brasil, Espanha, Inglaterra e França.
Catarinense de Guaraciaba, Diego está há dois anos na Chapecoense e recebeu a notícia do coordenador do clube, Roberto Ferreira.
– Eu estava em casa, com a minha família e de repente toca meu telefone, era o Roberto. Achei estranho ele me ligar, porque estamos de férias. Quando atendi e ele me contou, fiquei muito emocionado, corri contar para a minha família e meus pais começaram a chorar. Falaram que era fruto do meu trabalho. Estou muito feliz e vou dar o meu melhor, mostrar que fui uma boa escolha – contou, em entrevista ao site da Chapecoense.
Diego é o terceiro atleta da Chape a receber uma convocação para a seleção brasileira. O goleiro Igor Campo e o zagueiro Puhl, hoje no sub-20, tiveram a experiência em 2016.
